In this video I provide commentary on the recent Stanford University Elimination of Harmful Language Initiative. This extensive list of words is an attempt to demonize and castigate words, phrases and common colloquialisms that American's have always used and replace them with "suitable alternatives." Currently this initiative is being used by the IT department of Stanford University but based on the trajectory of the speech police, this may very well be coming soon to a school or workplace near you.
