Pastor Carlton Funderburke of Church of the Wells in Kansas City Missouri went on a rant admonishing his congregation that he asked for a Movado watch last year and he STILL hasn't received it. How dare they buy things for themselves and neglect to get him what he asked for? In this video, I provide biblical commentary on the problematic nature of pastors speaking to their congregation like children. He has since issued a pre-scripted apology, however his rant speaks to a bigger issue.
