How does Murphy, who is a christian pastor, reconcile his actions according to scripture? Murphy, who loosely holds to tenants of the Christian faith in word, is often seen compromising on Christian basics in favor of siding with the world and the culture. How does the church respond when pastors who claim to love God and who shepherd others ignore the clear teaching of scripture in favor of doing what pleases man?
