How does an entire people group find themselves supporting people, policies and platforms that force them to choose the color of their skin over their allegiance to Christ? How is an entire community who historically have been conservative by nature, now grapple with being in a moral conflict with a culture they have identified as “black?”
In this video, I will react to the recent anger, outrage and frustration that many black people have been experiencing as they watch the party that they’ve given their unwavering support, effectively abandon them in favor of illegal immigrants.
I will also discuss how recently we’ve seen pastors, churches and other faith leaders choose loyalty to their ethnicity over who they claim to be in Christ.
What are we to make of this? This show will address the construct of blackness as we know it today, provide historical analysis of early Negro Americans and contrast them with so-called Black Americans. We will examine the effects of choosing color over Christ and the emotional, social and cultural conflict that is created when one decides to abandon the culture in favor of loyalty to Christ.
