About the Book: Walking in Unity chronicles the journey of Monique and Krista, who, early in their friendship, faced seemingly insurmountable barriers in their discussions about race and racism. Instead of retreating into silence or letting their friendship deteriorate, they chose to face those difficult conversations together, guided by their shared role as children of God.
The book draws a clear distinction between the secular culture’s call for agreement and Scripture’s call for true unity. Monique and Krista explore what the Bible says about racial harmony, and how Christians find their common identity in Christ. They provide a Christ-centered model for engaging with divisive issues being brought into our churches today, emphasizing love and truth found in Jesus over cheap platitudes.
